Metodología para interpolar tamanos poblacionales

Abstract

Frecuentemente se tienen estimaciones del tamano de una población para dos puntos del tiempo y se requieren estimaciones en puntos intermedios. En el presente documento se expone una solución sencilla trabajando con la tasa de variación media de la población en el periodo en consideración y se expone una propuesta para trabajar cuando hay segregación de poblaciones. Se presentan los resultados de varias aplicaciones para Bogotá y Colombia.
