Fijación de precios en transporte urbano: transporte público y privado

Abstract

Este paper deriva un sistema de precios optimo para el transporte urbano en el que existe un sistema publico de transporte masivo que compite con el transporte privado. El ejercicio supone que los viajes y diferentes modos en tiempos se hacen en medios que no son sustitutos perfectos y que el transporte privado genera unos costos de congestión mayores que el público. En la primera parte se hace una rápida revisión de la literatura relacionada y luego se deducen los efectos de estática comparada.
