Ventajas comparativas del sector agropecuario colombiano en el marco de los recientes acuerdos comerciales

Abstract

El documento identifica las potencialidades y sensibilidades de los productos agropecuarios colombianos en el mercado centroamericano, a partir del indicador de ventajas comparativas reveladas (IVCR). Caracteriza la estructura de comercio internacional de Colombia con los países del Triángulo del Norte (Guatemala, Honduras y El Salvador) y muestra que la mayor parte de los productos colombianos con ventajas comparativas forman parte del sector agroindustrial, el cual tiene un alto valor agregado en el proceso productivo. Se concluye que el interés de Colombia para acceder al mercado de Centroamérica se centra en los productos industriales y agroindustriales.
