Econometría con Stata: Introducción y análisis de datos

Abstract

En econometría es necesario el uso continuo de un software especializado tanto en la docencia como en la investigación aplicada. De ahí que el objetivo de este documento sea introducir al lector en el manejo de Stata, posiblemente el software econométrico más popular y con las herramientas predefinidas más adecuadas de cálculo automatizado para la docencia y la investigación en economía. Este escrito está dirigido a todos los estudiantes (en especial a los del curso de econometría II de la Universidad Icesi), profesores e ivestigadores en economía deseosos de empezar a usar el programa o profundizar sus conocimientos en esta herramienta. Es importante aclarar que el documento se basa en la versión de Stata 10.
