Sincronización en américa latina

Abstract

La integración económica se encuentra reflejada en los crecientes intercambios de bienes, de capital financiero e inversión extranjera directa, hechos que han ocasionado una mayor sincronización de los ciclos económicos a nivel mundial. El artículo se introduce en el estudio de la sincronicidad económica en América Latina siguiendo la literatura existente con el objeto de acoplar nueva evidencia. El marco de referencia es el Área de Libre Comercio de las Américas (ALCA) debido a su relevancia histórica y sus posibilidades a partir de 2012. Se concluye que aunque se observaron algunas relaciones importantes, no se detecta la existencia de un ciclo común que invite a pensar en la existencia de sincronización plena.
