El valor social del tiempo en Colombia

Abstract

El valor social del tiempo es uno de los precios – cuenta que presenta más dificultades para su cálculo, dado que no es un bien transado en el mercado. En este trabajo se hace una estimación de este precio – cuenta, bajo la metodología de asignación del tiempo, con el fin de mejorar el análisis costo – beneficio asociados a los proyectos de inversión. Las estimaciones se hacen bajo dos categorías: tiempo de viaje y tiempo de espera, tanto a nivel nacional, como para el sector rural y urbano.
