Abstract

Este documento tiene por objeto dar a conocer la metodología y resultados de la balanza de pagos. Adicionalmente se presentan definiciones conceptuales y metodológicas de la actual estructura de la balanza de pagos y se describen de manera general los principales cambios en su estructura. Una vez revisada la parte teórica y conceptual del cambio efectuado con la nueva metodología, se analiza el estado actual de la información, encontrándose la necesidad de hacer especial énfasis en el tema de Inversión Privada en Infraestructura, para el mejoramiento del seguimiento y proyección de los pasivos de largo plazo de la cuenta de capital y financiera de la balanza de pagos de Colombia.
