La reforma pensional en Colombia

Abstract

Esta Observación tiene como objetivo colmar parcialmente este déficit respecto a otros análisis igualmente relevantes con miras a contribuir en el proceso de evaluación integral de la política de seguridad social en Colombia. Es por ello que se exponen algunos de los elementos básicos para el debate actual de las pensiones en Colombia. Allí se ilustran de manera breve y precisa los aspectos tanto históricos, normativos y de políticas públicas que ha generado el enorme déficit pensional en la actualidad. Asimismo, llos autores evalúan de manera sucinta algunas de las propuestas planteadas por el actual gobierno y proponen otras alternativas a fin de contribuir en fórmulas que garanticen un sistema pensional con amplia cobertura y financieramente auto sostenible en el mediano y largo plazo.
