Microeconomia Avanzada: Notas De Clase

Abstract

El presente documento recoge las notas de clase del curso de Microeconomía Avanzada del Postgrado en Economía de la Universidad de los Andes dictado por Rocío Ribero durante varios semestres. Se basa en las notas de clase del curso de Microeconomía doctoral que dictaba Yaw Nyarko en New York University circa 1993, las cuales se han venido puliendo y reorganizando con el tiempo. Se compone de tres partes: la primera acerca de la teoría clásica del consumidor, la segunda sobre la teoría clásica de la firma y la tecera sobre desarrollos más recientes en los temas de la economía de la información y la incertidumbre. A lo largo del texto se plantean una serie de ejercicios aclaratorios, y al final de cada capítulo se incluyen otros ejercicios adicionales. Este documento no contiene desarrollos originales, que no estén ya planteados o desarrollados en los libros referenciados al final. Solamente pretende ser una ayuda para que el lector pueda enfrentarse a los textos de Microeconomía avanzada con mayor seguridad y una guía para los actuales estudiantes del curso. Esperamos que ellos lo encuentren de utilidad, y comprendan que todos los errores que seguramente seguirán encontrando por ahí, son muy probablemente nuestros, no de Varian ni de Mas Colell.
