Mercado Laboral Y Discriminación Racial: Una Aproximación Para Cali

Abstract

Esta memoria propone un modelo empírico, que busca probar la posible existencia de discriminación racial en el mercado laboral de la ciudad de Cali, basado en la Encuesta de acceso y percepción de los servicios ofrecidos por el municipio de antiago de Cali"" realizada por la Alcaldía de esta ciudad y el Banco Mundial. Los resultados empíricos permiten afirmar que existe discriminación racial, puesto que los individuos afrodescendientes enfrentan condiciones de mercado diferentes a los de su contraparte de la población no afrodescendiente, no explicadas debido a diferencias en dotaciones de capital humano que pudieran dar cuenta de su ubicación laboral."
