La Evolución Del Crédito En Colombia: Comportamiento E Interpretación

Abstract

En este trabajo se analiza el comportamiento reciente del crédito en Colombia a la luz de las interpretaciones --tanto por el lado de la oferta como por el de la demanda-- que explican una disminución de la actividad crediticia desde el punto de vista del canal del crédito. La lección fundamental es que en Colombia si hubo un apretón crediticio en el período de poscrisis de 1999 y que éste obedeció tanto a problemas de oferta como de demanda
