Abstract

(English) Le attività di implementazione e gestione della rete rientrano nelle competenze del servizio “Elaborazioni informatiche e banche dati” dell’IRPPS e sono concentrate nella sede di Roma potendo la sede di Salerno gestire la struttura informativa in modo autonomo. L’obiettivo principale del servizio è quello di essere di supporto innanzitutto alle attività di ricerca e più in generale alla gestione dell’Istituto. In particolare il servizio offre il necessario supporto informatico indispensabile al lavoro del personale dell’Istituto (elaborazione e condivisione dati, posta elettronica, Internet, Sito Web, etc.). Questo lavoro è finalizzato ad illustrare l’evoluzione della gestione della rete, allo scopo di tracciare un resoconto sintetico delle scelte effettuate nel corso degli anni che hanno avuto come esito l’implementazione di un sistema gestionale informativo che è oggi parte integrante della struttura dell’Istituto.
