Rendimientos anormales persistentes: un ejercicio con datos del mercado continuo para el período enero-septiembre 2006

Abstract

CONTENTS: El objetivo de esta monografía es aproximar la frecuencia de los episodios de aumento o disminución persistente de las cotizaciones que no parecen vinculadas ni al comportamiento general del mercado ni a la información pública disponible sobre las empresas. Con tal fin se propone un ejercicio basado en el análisis de los rendimientos anormales generados por un sencillo modelo estadístico de mercado para tres submuestras diferenciadas y, en conjunto, representativas del mercado continuo: los valores integrados en el Ibex 35, el Ibex Small Cap y el Ibex Medium Cap. Los rendimientos anormales se generan para el período enero-septiembre 2006 y se analizan teniendo en cuenta tres situaciones posibles: ausencia de difusión de información relevante, anticipación a la difusión y evolución tras la misma.
