Organisation et réglementation des services publics d'eau potable et d'assainissement en France

Abstract

In this paper, we provide an analysis of the water sector in France. Together with a description of the specificities of water delivery and the collection and treatment of waste waters, we highlight three crucial points to understand "the French water school"": the organization of the sector, the public service nature of the activities and the regulation system." Dans ce document, nous proposons une analyse du secteur de l'eau en France. Tout en décrivant les spécificités de la distribution d'eau potable et de la collecte et du traitement des eaux usées, nous nous concentrons sur trois aspects qui nous semblent primordiaux pour comprendre "l'école française de l'eau"": l'organisation du secteur, la nature de service public des activités et les problèmes de réglementation du système."
