Son propos est d’expliquer comment fonctionne un tel marché et de montrer comment il s’insère ou modifie le système commercial actuel.Le marché électronique intelligent proposé poursuit deux grands objectifs. Le premier objectif est l’amélioration de l’efficacité du marché des copeaux de bois. Le marché électronique constitue un moyen privilégié pour améliorer la flexibilité du marché et enrayer ainsi l’accumulation de stocks invendus. Un tel mécanisme maximise les profits globaux de l’industrie en faisant en sorte que chaque entreprise puisse identifier toutes les occasions d’affaires qui sont à sa portée et exploiter les profits supplémentaires qui s’y rattachent.
