Obstáculos a la innovación y la creatividad en las organizaciones. Primera parte: el sujeto sujetado

Abstract

La creación de riqueza sostenible en las organizaciones del Siglo XXI exige cada vez más habilidades y actitudes específicas del ser humano nunca antes requeridas. La actual Sociedad del Conocimiento, un mundo donde lo único permanente son los cambios, negocios donde la competencia se hace cada vez más feroz y tecnología al alcance de casi todos, hacen que ciertas características de las personas tengan un papel por demás relevante en la generación de valor que permita a las empresas disponer de ventajas competitivas que las habiliten no sólo a sobrevivir sino a crecer y mejorar su propio rendimiento y los beneficios destinados a los stakeholders. La creatividad y la innovación son algunas de estas características que no sólo son propias del ser humano sino que son ampliamente requeridas en todos los puestos de trabajo de la mayoría de las organizaciones modernas aunque no por eso se las encuentra en abundancia en las personas y menos aún se ponen en práctica en el quehacer diario laboral. Es necesario, entonces, centrar la atención en los posibles obstáculos que impiden a los trabajadores desarrollar y utilizar pensamientos creativos, ideas y/o acciones innovadoras para elaborar procedimientos y poner en práctica herramientas tendientes a eliminar las barreras que impiden el uso de tales habilidades.
