Thirty graphical tips Stata users should know, revisited

Abstract

In 2010 I gave a talk at the London presenting thirty graphical tips. The display materials remain accessible on Stata's website, but are awkward to view, as they are based on a series of .smcl files. I will recycle the title, and some of the tips, and add new ones, as some of what you or your students or your research team should know about when coding graphics for mainstream tasks. The theme of "thirty" matches this 30th London meeting, and to a good enough approximation my 33 years as a Stata user. The talk mixes examples from official and community-contributed commands and details both large and small.
