Abstract

En este ensayo se documenta el papel amortiguador de la deuda pública interna del gobierno nacional, durante la gran depresión de principios de los 1930. Una diversidad de choques externos, entre ellos una confrontación bélica con un país limítrofe, afectó a la economía en esa época. A través de diversos medios comentados en este documento, la deuda pública interna sirvió para absorber los choques adversos sobre la economía, provenientes del exterior.
