El índice de precios de consumo: usos y posibles vías de mejora

Abstract

En este documento se presentan de forma breve los principales usos de las estadísticas de precios de consumo, prestando especial atención a la predicción de la inflación mediante modelos econométricos. También se realizan algunas propuestas de cara a aumentar la utilidad del índice de precios de consumo para los usuarios finales.
