Abstract

Our planet is the space where different activities are involved in various environments of action. In present, on this space triggers a series of climatic changes that influence the results of business environment, social environment, politics and media. In four sections, this paper aims to study and clarify that the climate changes may be manage by companies’ boards and these can be seen as obstacles that can be passed successfully, sometimes even transforming them into opportunities. In first section we describe which are the climate changes and its impacts on the business environment and communities. The second section presents the climate change measures and policies continued with the third section which aims the implications and opportunities of adaption to climate changes. In the fourth section we choose to present which are the elements of leadership that have been incorporated by renowned European companies in the implementation of adaptation strategies to climate change.
