Guía Competencia frente a la inflación: Cómo la competencia y la regulación eficiente ayudan a proteger el poder adquisitivo de los consumidores

Abstract

Este documento expone, a partir de la revisión de los estudios sobre la materia, cómo las medidas para promover la competencia y la regulación eficiente pueden ayudar a moderar los precios y facilitar la labor de las autoridades económicas en su objetivo de controlar la inflación. Además, dichas medidas tienen la capacidad de mitigar los efectos negativos de la inflación sobre el poder adquisitivo al impulsar el crecimiento y el empleo, en beneficio del conjunto de la ciudadanía, incluyendo particularmente a los colectivos de menor renta y más vulnerables.
