Côte d’Ivoire – Résilience macro-financière et poursuite de l’ambition émergente

Abstract

Depuis la sortie de la « décennie perdue » (2000-2010), la Côte d’Ivoire connaît une forte croissance économique (+ 7,2 % depuis 2012). Résiliente face aux chocs externes successifs, elle confirme sa position au sein de l’UEMOA. Pays à revenu intermédiaire de la tranche inférieure, elle aspire à rejoindre la tranche supérieure d’ici 2030. Pour ce faire, cette économie, encore largement orientée vers les exportations de matières premières, doit relever plusieurs défis, parmi lesquels, la restauration d’un équilibre budgétaire et extérieur. Les besoins d’investissement restent importants pour pallier des fragilités socio-économiques persistantes et construire un modèle de croissance inclusif. Malgré la bonne performance économique, le pays reste vulnérable aux risques politiques et sécuritaires.
