Inclusión y salud financieras para la movilidad social: propuestas para una política pública

Abstract

El uso adecuado de instrumentos financieros es un factor clave para la movilidad social ascendente en la medida en que contribuye al bienestar y a la formación de capital humano, ya que fortalece la inversión de los hogares en educación y salud, la formación de un patrimonio y las posibilidades de las personas para emprender. Por ello, sigue siendo un objetivo importante para el desarrollo de una sociedad más justa, en particular, en los segmentos más vulnerables. Este documento propone que la política pública de inclusión financiera se enfoque en dos grupos en los extremos del espectro etario: los jóvenes y los adultos mayores, para de esta manera focalizar los esfuerzos y lograr un mayor impacto a lo largo del ciclo de vida de la población.
