Vivienda digna y movilidad intergeneracional en Nuevo León

Abstract

A partir de las características de la vivienda reportadas por las personas entrevistadas en la Encuesta ESRU de Movilidad Social en Nuevo León 2021, un índice de bienestar económico, la escolaridad de los padres y otras variables individuales de control, se estudian los efectos de mejora en la posición socioeconómica de los individuos respecto de la que tuvieron en su hogar de origen. Este estudio también presenta un análisis complementario mediante redes neuronales artificiales para confirmar la relevancia de las variables relacionadas con haberse desarrollado en una vivienda adecuada para incrementar las posibilidades de movilidad social ascendente para la población joven neolonesa, con especial atención sobre las diferencias significativas entre el entorno urbano y el rural.
