Diagnóstico Socioeconómico de La Plata y sus Centros Comunales

Abstract

El análisis cuantitativo de la actividad económica regional, a través de la medición del producto bruto geográfico resulta de suma utilidad a la hora de evaluar la oferta productiva de niveles de gobierno subnacionales, ya sea en términos de bienes como de servicios producidos. Sin embargo, en la medida que desde las provincias se avanza hacia los municipios, y a su vez desde éstos hacia divisiones menores del espacio geográfico (como los centros comunales en el municipio de La Plata) el producto bruto se torna un indicador insuficiente para el análisis, como consecuencia fundamental de la importantísima movilidad factorial existente entre barrios de una misma ciudad. Por este motivo, en este trabajo a la hora de realizar un análisis socio–económico sobre la capital provincia y sus centros comunales, además de emplear la información habitual para estos estudios, se diseñó un indicador del ingreso que permita establecer la situación de cada subdivisión del territorio municipal.
