Quem ganha e quem perde? O efeito da rodada de Doha nos setores da economia brasileira: uma análise de equilíbrio geral com GTAP

Abstract

Este estudo pretende estimar os efeitos de possíveis resultados das negociações da rodada de Doha nos setores da economia brasileira, usando um modelo de equilíbrio geral. As simulações sugerem um aumento do bem-estar mundial equivalente a USD 181,6 bilhões se as tarifas de importação e subsídios a exportação desaparecem inteiramente em todo mundo, com um aumento no bem-estar de USD 9,1 bilhões no Brasil e um aumento no PIB brasileiro de 3\%. Porém, as simulações mostram que os ganhos beneficiam principalmente os setores agropecuários, e que o acordo pode causar prejuízos para os setores industriais.
