Abstract

Excerpt from the report Preface: This report is a supplement to Marketing Research Report 324. It covers the laboratory evaluation of 450 additional compounds as insect repellents for possible use in the development of insect-resistant packages for food, feed, fiber, and other agricultural commodities. The study is a part of a broad research program of the Agricultural Marketing Service designed to improve market quality and to reduce costs of marketing farm products.
