Viabilidade Econômica De Sistemas Agroflorestais Orgânicos No Baixo Sul Da Bahia – O Caso Do Projeto Onça

Abstract

O sistema agroflorestal é uma combinação ecológica e econômica de no mínimo dois cultivos, sendo um deles, uma espécie lenhosa perene, incluindo as palmeiras, em função do tempo e do espaço para incrementar e otimizar a produção agrícola ou agropecuária de forma sustentável. Esta forma de cultivo é encontrada com freqüência na região do Baixo Sul da Bahia e tem como vantagem ao agricultor maior diversificação da renda e ao bioma uma maior conservação. No entanto, a sustentabilidade dessa forma de cultivo depende em muito da rentabilidade, que seja possível identificar pela viabilidade econômica das combinações utilizadas pelo agricultor. Neste estudo foram consideradas 8 combinações de cultivos para análise. Destas combinações a combinação mais utilizada na Comunidade, guaraná e piaçava, foi a que apresentou os piores indicadores econômicos, com B/C de 1,15, TIR de 0,10 e VPL (12%) de R$38.105,23. Enquanto que a combinação mais diversificada, guaraná-cupuaçu-piaçava-seringa-frutas, foi aquela com os melhores resultados, com B/C de 2,81, TIR de 0,60 e VPL (12%) R$261.114,59.
