Fluxo De Comercialização De Hortaliças Produzidas Na Região Alto Cabeceiras Do Tietê

Abstract

O artigo analisa o fluxo de comercialização de hortaliças produzidas na região Alto Cabeceiras do Tietê, no cinturão verde, próximo à cidade de São Paulo. A metodologia utilizada foi o levantamento de campo junto à varejistas próximos à região produtora através de questionário estruturado. As hortaliças são vendidas diretamente ao pequeno varejo, a supermercados, para atacadistas regionais e intermediários. Observou-se que para os casos da alface e brócolis, a participação do produtor no preço final é em média maior quando vendido diretamente ao pequeno varejo ou àcentral de compras de supermercados. A venda no mercado local também apresentou ser uma opção de melhor remuneração para o produtor. O crescimento de vendas às centrais de compra de supermercados ainda é limitado, devido às exigências de padronização e qualidade requeridas, que os produtores locais não conseguem cumprir.
