Análise Da Distribuição Territorial Da Sojicultura No Brasil: 1991 – 2003

Abstract

O presente artigo tem por objetivo central analisar a distribuição espacial da soja para as 558 microrregiões brasileiras no período 1991-2003. Pode-se apontar como objetivos secundários: a) analisar a evolução temporal da dinâmica espacial; b) identificar a formação de cluster; c) classificar a base produtiva das microrregiões; d) verificar a incidência de convergência do QL da soja, ou seja, testar se a produção de soja está ficando distribuída de forma mais homogênea no país. Para atingir o objetivo delineado neste trabalho, serão implementadas uma análise exploratória de dados espaciais (AEDE), que serve para identificar a formação de clusters e analisar a evolução temporal da dinâmica espacial, e uma análise de convergência, que visa inferir se as microrregiões de menor produção de soja, estão tendo sua produção elevada de forma mais acelerada que as produtoras de grande escala.
