Certificação Eurepgap No Sistema Agroindustrial Do Limão Tahiti

Abstract

O artigo analisa as mudanças verificadas no sistema produtivo do limão tahiti a partir da implantação da certificação EUREPGAP. Trata-se de um certificado de qualidade que inclui explicitamente entre os seus princípios a proteção ambiental e a saúde, segurança e bem-estar do trabalhador. É considerado um grupo de produtores de um dos maiores pólos fruticultores de limão tahiti do estado de São Paulo, pólo este que vem sendo foco de projetos voltados à competitividade e à inserção no mercado externo, desenvolvidos pelo Serviço Brasileiro de Apoio às Micro e Pequenas Empresas (SEBRAE) e Associação Brasileira dos Produtores e Exportadores de Limão (ABPEL). A análise proposta é realizada com base no conceito e na abordagem de sistemas agroindustriais. Verificou-se que a inserção dos produtores rurais, na maior parte pequenos produtores, no mercado internacional vem sendo acompanhada de mudanças de ampla incidência nos diferentes elos constitutivos do sistema agroindustrial: ambiente institucional, fornecimento de insumos, propriedade rural, agroindústria, distribuição e serviços de apoio. -------------------------------------------------------The article analyzes the change in production systems of tahiti lime carrying through an implantation of the certification European Retailers Produce Working Group - Agricultural Good Practices (EUREPGAP), which is a quality certification based on environmental protection and worker health, safety and welfare. It was considered an important farmer group of the State of São Paulo, where there are important projects focused on competitiveness and insertion in external markets supported by the Brazilian Agency for Support of Micro and Small Enterprises (SEBRAE) and the Lime Farmer and Exporter Brazilian Association (ABPEL). The proposed analyze is carried out through agro-industrial system concept and approach. It was verified the insertion of farmers in european market. It is followed by changes with wide incidence in agro-industrial system.
