Abstract
Este trabalho foi realizado na região do Recôncavo Baiano em 2005, especificamente no município de Santo Amaro, no Assentamento Bela Vista, organizado pelo Movimento dos Trabalhadores Rurais Sem Terra (MST). Tem-se como objetivo calcular a renda familiar relacionada às atividades de famílias de agricultores nessa área de assentamento com o propósito de avaliar a viabilidade e o desempenho das unidades familiares ali presentes. Nesta pesquisa utilizou-se como procedimento metodológico a Análise-Diagnóstico de Sistemas Agrários, mediante a qual calculou-se o valor da renda familiar agrícola e do auto-consumo para quatro tipos representativos de produtores assentados (Pi), chegando-se à elaboração de um quadro demonstrativo, de forma comparativa, do desempenho das famílias estudadas. --------------------------------------------This work was accomplished in the Recôncavo Baiano area in 2005, specifically in the municipal district of Santo Amaro, in the Bela Vista Establishment, organized for the Movement of the Rural Workers without Earth (MST). The main objective is the calculation of the family income related to the activities of farmers' families in that establishment area with the purpose of evaluating the viability and the acting of the family units. In this research it was used as methodological procedure the Analysis-diagnosis of Agrarian Systems. The value of the agricultural family income and of the self-consumption was calculated for four representative kinds of producers with the elaboration of a demonstrative picture, in a comparative way, of the acting of the studied families.
