Abstract
This work studied the localization of a poultry agro-industry and optimized its net, from the integrated to the consumers, determining the amount of frigorific and centers of distribution that the company must have and the localization of these to minimize costs. From the collection of real data and using Geographic Systems tools of Information and binary linear program, it was determined excellent configuration for the net as well as the configuration of diverse alternative scenes. The used objective function minimizes the total amount of the localization and the slaughterhouse costs, the localization costs of the distribution center, the production costs and remittance of the alive chicken from the integrated one until the slaughterhouse, the slaughter costs and remittance until the distribution center and the storage costs in the distribution center and remittance until the final customers. The excellent scene gotten considers only the installation of a slaughterhouse and a distribution center of bigger capacity, evidencing scale profits. The results favored the localization of the slaughterhouses close to the integrated ones and also the distribution centers close to the customers, subjected to the diverse restrictions imposed for the local reality.
