Abstract
This fact deserves attention, mainly, before the international scenery of high inflationary for the group alimentation, registered the year of 2007, and the continuity tendency for 2008. Before that, the present study had as objective analyzes the possible impacts of the expansion of the (PBF) on the consumption and price of foods. The results revealed a high ERD, for the feeding in the home, as well as for some items that compose this subgroup. The result was preoccupying, because exactly products with high elasticity-income, in other words, that have a larger increment in expenditure starting from an increase of the income, has also been presenting price elevation, as it is the case mainly of the milk and yours derived. Finally, it sought to detach the fact that the inflation will have impact differentiated in the different classes of income. Therefore, an high inflationary deserves attention of the creator of public politics, since this tends to relapse mainly on the families of low income.
