Abstract

Ce document examine les marchés maliens des pesticides1 et les réglementations y afférentes. En tant que membre fondateur du CILSS2, le Mali s'est engagé à créer des institutions nationales de réglementation, nécessaires à la mise en œuvre de la réglementation commune sur les pesticides en vigueur dans tous les pays de l’espace CILSS. Cette étude explore les progrès qu’il a réalisés à ce jour dans la mise en œuvre, au niveau national, de ces politiques régionales de gestion des pesticides convenues de commun accord avec les autres Etats membres. Dans le cadre d'un ensemble d'études de cas comparatives réalisées dans sept pays, ce travail vise collectivement à explorer les raisons de l'inégalité des taux d’exécution des mesures politiques régionales relatives aux intrants agricoles.
