Hintergrundpapier zum Moorbodenschutz und zur torfschonenden und -erhaltenden Moorbodennutzung als Beitrag zum Klimaschutz

Abstract

Im Aktionsprogramm Klimaschutz 2020 wird als Maßnahme im Bereich Landnutzung der „Schutz von Moorböden“ genannt. Es soll eine Bund-Länder-Ziel-Vereinbarung unter Einbeziehung der Agrarressorts auf Grundlage des Positionspapiers der Bund-/Länder-Arbeitsgemeinschaft Naturschutz, Landschaftspflege und Erholung (LANA) „Potenziale und Ziele zum Moor- und Klimaschutz“ vom November 2012 beschlossen werden. Analog zum LANA-Positionspapier ist die Definition von Moorböden in dieser Veröffentlichung eine bodenkundliche, d. h. es werden alle organischen Böden ungeachtet ihrer Landnutzung, Vegetation oder ihres Biotoptyps betrachtet.
