Determinants Adjustments for Egyptian Farmers Decision-Making

Author

Listed:

Abstract

Unstable measures of governmental intervention in agriculture in Egypt have reflected on producers decision making in a manner distorting efficient prediction of major crops production levels. Liberalization and confinement of governmental intervention to price floor guarantee have permitted a stronger role for normal economic factors, proved by high estimated determination coefficients. Such change positively affects forcasting production sizes, imports needs and exports potentials in favor of efficient development planning.
