Abstract

This paper is in three parts. First, it addresses some conceptual considerations prompted by the title: management, teaching, education and the future. It then discusses some practical aspects of teaching farm management to different age groups, before, during, and after employment. It does not make detailed recommendations about teaching syllabuses but it concludes with some general reflections on farm management and their implications for its teaching.
