Warum nehmen Landwirte an der Initiative Tierwohl teil? Eine Analyse der Einflussfaktoren

Abstract

Landwirte, die an der Initiative teilnehmen, erhalten in Abhängigkeit von den Kriterien, die sie umsetzen, eine finanzielle Entschädigung. Die vorliegende Studie untersucht, was Landwirte motiviert, sich für eine Teilnahme an der Initiative Tierwohl zu bewerben. Die Studie basiert auf einer Onlinebefragung von deutschen Landwirten (n = 245). Als theoretischer Rahmen der Analyse dient eine Erweiterung der von AJZEN entwickelten Theory of Planned Behavior. Die Ergebnisse zeigen, dass die Teilnahme der deutschen Landwirte insbesondere durch wirtschaftliche Faktoren bestimmt wird, aber auch persönliche und soziale Gesichtspunkte für die Entscheidung, an der Initiative teilzunehmen, eine Rolle spielen.
