Das Idyll auf dem Bauernhof - Imaginationen von Landwirtschaft im Kontext von Angeboten für Senioren

Abstract

In einer explorativen Studie wurden Qualitätsaspekte von Dienstleistungen für Seniorinnen und Senioren auf landwirtschaftlichen Betrieben herausgearbeitet. Der Fokus lag auf der Bedeutung von Landwirtschaft bei diesen Angeboten. Interviews mit 23 Seniorinnen und Senioren auf acht landwirtschaftlichen Betrieben, die eine soziale Dienstleistung für diese Klientel bieten, ergaben, dass ein landwirtschaftliches Setting ein nachrangiges Qualitätsattribut ist, während die Gestaltung des sozialen Miteinanders deutlich im Vordergrund steht. Eine Diskursanalyse der Materialien von Organisationen, welche solche Angebote fördern, verdeutlichte, dass auch in entsprechenden Text- und Bildmaterialien soziale Attribute stärker betont werden als klassische Tätigkeiten oder Attribute der Primärproduktion. Vielfach werden idyllische Bilder gezeichnet. Mit dem Versprechen der Idylle entsteht Nachfrage, gleichzeitig birgt es die Gefahr, die kritische Distanz zu verlieren und Missstände im Alltag zu übersehen.
