Abstract

Der vorliegende Beitrag stellt ein lokales Agrarumweltprogramm zur moorschonenden und naturschutzgerechten Entwicklung landwirtschaftlicher Betriebe vor. Anhand ausgewählter Modellbetriebe wird das Programm hinsichtlich betriebswirtschaftlicher Gesichtspunkte analysiert. Aufbauend auf diese Analyse werden die Möglichkeiten und Grenzen lokaler Agrarumweltprogramme diskutiert und es werden Empfehlungen für die Ausgestaltung solcher Programme formuliert. Es zeigt sich, dass die Vorteile eines lokalen Vorgehens insbesondere in der Einbindung lokaler Stakeholder liegen. Schwierigkeiten bestehen vor allem hinsichtlich der Erfüllung von Kontroll- und Wettbewerbsvorgaben der Europäischen Union.
