Los cambios en la división internacional del trabajo agrícola y sus efectos en la dinámica espacial de los sistemas agroalimentarios: el caso de México

Abstract

El trabajo tiene el propósito de analizar las principales consecuencias de los cambios en la división internacional del trabajo en las dinámicas espaciales de los sistemas agropecuarios, particularmente en el caso de México. Aquí se utiliza el marco conceptual del estudio sobre empresas trasnacionales y la División Internacional del Trabajo Agrícola, DITA y el relativo a los sistemas agroalimentarios localizados, SIAL. Se revisan los principales aspectos que intervienen en la configuración de la DITA y se utiliza el análisis factorial para distinguir las variables que inciden en la relación entre la productividad agropecuaria y la eficacia de la inserción de México en la globalización. La conclusión principal es que el enfoque SIAL tiene posibilidades de ser un vehículo para la inserción competitiva de la agricultura sostenible y campesina de México en el contexto de la nueva DITA.
