CONTROL DE "Damping-Off" EN PLANTULAS DE TOMATE OBTENIDAS DE SEMILLAS PREGERMINADAS

Abstract

El'método de siembra con semillas pregerminadas consiste en favorecer la germinacion. en condiciones apropiadas, incorporarlas a una gelatina inocua y lue go depositar la mezcla manual ο mecar.jcamente en el suelo, La gelatina puede servir como medio para anadir fungicidas que protejan a las plantulas del ata que de hongos del suelo. En el présente trabajo se estudio el efecto de varies fungicidas en la gelatina sobre el control de aphanidermatum en condiciones de invernadero. En una primera etapa se determino el nivel^maximo a anadir a la gelatina que no causara reduccion.en el desarrollo de las plantulas. En otra serie de experimentos se evaluä el efecto de esos niveles sobre el hongo. Un buen control de la enfermedad se obtuvo en todos los experimentos con Banrot solo ( 0,75 g ia/1 gel. ) y Dexon y Truban solos ( 0,5 g ia/1 gel.) <5 çombinados con Benlate, Demosan u Orthocide. Esto se observo por un aumento en la emergencia total y una reduccion.en el numéro de plantulas enfermas comparadas con un control sin fungicidas. Las pocas plantulas emergidas y el alto numéro de plantulas muertas indico que Benlate, Demosan y Ortho eide no controlaron el hongo.
