Analyse Econometrique de la Perception et de l'Adaptation aux Risques Lies au Changement Climatique chez les Exploitants Agricoles du Congo-Brazzavill

Abstract

La presente etude analyse l'experience des exploitants agricoles installes par AGRI-CONGO en matia¨re de perception et d'adaptation au changement climatique. Elle s'est fondee sur une enquaªte de terrain aupra¨s de 201 exploitants agricoles dont 101 a Brazzaville et 100 a Pointe-Noire, les deux principales villes du Congo. Les resultats statistiques ont montre que la plupart des exploitants agricoles pera§oivent le changement climatique (98,5% de reponses) et pratiquent l'adaptation (85,35% de reponses). Les taux eleves de perception et d'adaptation des exploitants agricoles decoulent d'une part de leur experience dans l'activite agricole et d'autre part, de leur determination a preserver leurs activites malgre les risques actuels lies au changement climatique. L'indice de confrontation des probla¨mes a montre que le manque d'experience, la difficulte d'acca¨s aux intrants et au credit agricole, sont les principales contraintes en matia¨re d'adaptation. Enfin, une attention particulia¨re de la part d'AGRI-CONGO devrait aªtre accordee a la formation, au renforcement du materiel agricole, a l'octroi des subventions en engrais et intrants ainsi qu'a l'octroi des titres fonciers pour renforcer la capacite d'adaptation des exploitants agricoles.
