Analyse de la Competitivite et de la Sophistication des Exportations dans les Pays de la Cedeao : Le Cas de la Mesure du Commerce des Produits a Valeur Ajoutee

Abstract

L'objectif de cette etude etait d'abord d'analyser la participation des pays de la Communaute economique des etats de l'Afrique de l'Ouest (CEDEAO) dans la chaine de valeur mondiale. Ensuite, ce fut l'analyse de la performance des exportations de ces pays en matiere de commerce a valeur ajoutee a travers la competitivite et la sophistication des exportations. Les resultats montrent que la participation de ces pays a la chaine de valeur mondiale est fortement determinee par l'integration en aval, c'est-a-dire les exportations de produits primaires. Au sujet de la performance des exportations dans le commerce a valeur ajoutee, les resultats suggerent que le panier d'exportation de ces pays n'est pas competitif. Les resultats ont egalement mis en evidence la faible sophistication du panier d'exportation avec un degre tres eleve d'heterogeneite entre les pays.
