Faciliter le Commerce Regional : Les Lecons de L'UEMOA et de la CAE sur la Facon d'Accroitre le Commerce dans la CEMAC

Abstract

Cette etude explore les moyens de faciliter et d'ameliorer les echanges intra communautaires de la Communaute economique et monetaire de l'Afrique centrale (CEMAC), qui sont restes structurellement faibles pendant plus de vingt ans, en se concentrant sur la Communaute de l'Afrique de l'Est et l'Union economique et monetaire ouest-africaine (UEMOA). L'etude s'appuie sur une analyse descriptive des echanges et des indicateurs de facilitation des echanges dans ces trois communautes. Une analyse econometrique des facteurs sous jacents au niveau des echanges dans ces trois communautes est menee a l'aide Faciliter le Commerce Regional : Les Lecons de L'UEMOA et de la CAE sur la Facon d'Accroitre le Commerce dans la CEMAC Nguenkwe Ronie Bertrand Octobre 2023 / No.807 DOCUMENT DE POLITIQUE GENERALE 2 Document de Politique Generale No.807 d'un modele de gravite augmente. Les resultats econometriques montrent que le nombre de documents et le nombre de jours necessaires pour exporter ont un impact negatif et significatif sur le commerce dans la CAE et l'UEMOA, mais un impact positif dans la CEMAC. Les services d'infrastructure, notamment l'utilisation d'Internet, ont un impact negatif sur le commerce intra-zone en EAC.
