Definición de mercados a través de estimaciones de oferta y demanda

Abstract

Este trabajo desarrolla una metodología para la definición de mercados utilizando estimaciones de oferta y demanda. La misma es luego aplicada al sector de detergentes lavavajillas en la Argentina, utilizando datos del período 2022-2023. Los resultados se comparan con los que se obtienen utilizando exclusivamente estimaciones de demanda, y también con los obtenidos usando una metodología alternativa para estimar demandas (combinada con la estimación de precios de oferta). El trabajo concluye con el resultado empírico de que en la Argentina pueden identificarse dos mercados relevantes en el sector de detergentes lavavajillas (uno que involucra a las dos principales marcas de detergente, y otro que abarca el resto de las marcas).
