Abstract

El objetivo principal de este trabajo es analizar las diferencias de desarrollo humano en el territorio argentino a nivel subnacional, a través de un índice compuesto por indicadores económicos, sanitarios y educativos disponibles a nivel local. Para esto se adapta el Índice de Desarrollo Humano publicado por el Programa de Naciones Unidas para el Desarrollo, utilizando principalmente datos del Censo Nacional de hogares y viviendas 2022 proporcionado por el INDEC. Dentro de las conclusiones más relevantes, destacamos la compatibilidad del IDHR con el IDH del PNUD, lo cual nos estaría demostrando su validez como indicador del desarrollo humano. Además, siguiendo similares clasificaciones utilizadas a nivel internacional es posible agrupar a las jurisdicciones subnacionales de Argentina según su nivel de desarrollo humano. Finalmente, existe la posibilidad de extender el análisis sobre las diferencias de desarrollo humano al nivel local dentro del territorio argentino.
