Estimación De Demanda Y Definición De Mercados En Productos Con Diferenciación Vertical: El Caso De La Cerveza En La Argentina

Abstract

Este trabajo analiza el tema de la estimación de demanda y la definición de mercados en sectores en los que los productos están diferenciados verticalmente. En él se explica una metodología empírica basada en elasticidades de sustitución, que después se aplica a la industria cervecera argentina, utilizando datos del período 2011-2017. Los resultados se comparan luego con otros equivalentes, obtenidos usando una metodología alternativa, y se concluye que en la Argentina pueden identificarse dos mercados relevantes en el sector cervecero (correspondientes a cervezas de calidad media y alta, y a cervezas de calidad más baja).
