¿Estamos todos igualmente incluidos? Elaboración de un Índice provincial de Inclusión Financiera global

Abstract

El presente trabajo consiste en explorar las similitudes y diferencias en las dimensiones de inclusión financiera (acceso, uso, calidad y bienestar) entre las provincias argentinas. Se buscará dar respuesta a las preguntas ¿El nivel de inclusión financiera es el mismo en todo el territorio argentino? y si no fuera así ¿Qué podría estar causando esas diferencias territoriales? La metodología adoptada para la construcción del índice es la de componentes principales generando un Índice por dimensión y un Índice global de Inclusión por provincia. Los datos utilizados provienen del BCRA disponibles a mayo 2019 y de la EPH - INDEC. Entre los principales resultados se encuentran grandes diferencias entre las provincias argentinas en todas las dimensiones y en el índice global. Además se explora la relación entre el índice global y los indicadores del mercado laboral encontrando resultados acorde a lo esperados.
